About Knife

It is a fairly long walk from No Name Beach for snorkelers, but is a very nice dive site. There are coral rubble and sand in the shallows. Various fish graze the abundant shallow algae patches. It has a sloping reef with variety of different. Near the drop-off you will find variety of gorgonian corals, sea rods, and sea plumes. It was closed for ~12 years for rehabilitation after a boating accident, and has recently reopened. It is a very healthy site with tons of banded coral shrimp and cleaner shrimp. The slope has large tube sponges, and mountainous and cavernous star coral.
