About Forest

The name is derived from the Gorgonians that flourish in the shallows, and in deeper water the huge colonies of fern-like black coral. At 22 meter there is a large cave. The drop off begins at 12m and when you get deeper there is a lot of black coral and sponges. Mountainous star coral and huge orange elephant ear sponges are found until 24m, and then are replaced by stacks of plate corals. The coral on this dive is huge with massive purple stovepipes, gorgonian fans and plumes.
