About Captain Don's Reef

This dive site is on the south side of Klein in a small bay. There is a plaque dedicated to Bonaire's pioneer diver, Don Stewart, which thanks him for his dedication to the preservation of Bonaire's reefs at the mooring. The ridges are covered with coral and sponges. Below 20 meter there are many black corals and wire corals. Lots of sugar sand in the shallows and extensive gorgonian forests cover the shallow sandy areas with beautiful coral formations out a little deeper. This dive is suitable for all levels.
