About Abyss

One of the best wall dives of The South Water Cay Marine Reserve. There is an inner wall (40ft) and and outer wall (80ft) which has large pinnacles rising 15-20ft from it. Start the dive on the inner wall then descend and swim to the outer wall going through a large swim through to get there. The wall overhangs in several places and is festooned with black coral and colourful sponges. Explore as many of the pinnacles as your dive time allows and end the dive on the shallower inner wall. Turtles, eagle rays, moray eels and barracuda are the regular large animal encounters but manta rays and whale sharks have been spotted here.
