About Hazell's Water World, Inc.

Hazell’s Water World was created in the spring of 1990 by a son and father team, who have more than fifty years experience between them. John Hazell is a PADI instructor who has been diving since the mid-1970’s, doing so in his off-time with Barbados’ dive club, the Barbados Divers Association or “BADASS’n”.As the authorised dealer on the island for Tusa and Mares diving equipment, Hazell’s Water World strongly believes customers should be able to see, feel and even try on equipment before they buy it. Hazell’s offers great advice and tailor-made recommendations, because to them ‘not one diver is the same’. There are manufacturer warranties on all in-store sales and a discount on servicing of equipment originally purchased from Hazell’s. The company also supplies snorkel gear and fish identification cards to local cruise operators, as well as diving equipment to Barbados’ diveshops.

Glide over nurse-shark nurseries at Hol Chan, descend along Lighthouse Reef’s vertiginous walls, or time your visit to Placencia for exhilarating whale-shark encounters at Gladden Spit. Warm 26-29 °C waters, 15-30 m visibility and a laid-back Creole-Garífuna culture turn every surface interval into a tropical holiday. Whether you’re certifying in shallow seagrass meadows or racking up tech-level depth on coral-encrusted ledges, Belize blends world-class marine biodiversity with sustainable operators, eco-minded lodges and easy travel connections—making it the perfect base for both first-time bubbles and bucket-list underwater adventures.
