Telephone Pole

The site is characterized by a stunning wall that runs parallel to the shore, which gradually transitions into a multitude of coral heads and a sandy slope. The site derives its name from an old telephone pole that was once lodged over a crevice at the entrance to the cut. The crevices at this site are teeming with marine life, making it a vibrant and exciting dive. The maximum depth at this site is 30 meters, with an approximate maximum visibility of 45 meters. The current is generally light, making it a suitable dive for experienced divers.

The marine life at the Telephone Pole is diverse and abundant. Divers can expect to see Groupers, Mutton Snappers, Trigger Fish, and Turtles among other species. The site is located in the San Salvador area and is known for its reef and wall characteristics.
