Sand Castles is a dive site located in San Salvador that is ideal for beginners. The dive begins in shallow water and gradually descends to a maximum depth of 30 meters. Here, divers will encounter a large sand bank and a wall, offering a unique underwater landscape to explore. The wall is adorned with a variety of corals, providing a vibrant backdrop for the abundant marine life.

The site is characterized by its reef, shark, and wall features. The light current allows for an approximate maximum visibility of 45 meters, providing clear views of the marine life inhabiting the area. Divers can expect to see Barracuda, Groupers, Mutton Snappers, and even Sharks. Despite the presence of these larger species, the site remains suitable for beginner divers due to the manageable current and clear visibility.
