Red Shoal

Red Shoal is a shallow dive site located to the West of the U.S Navy base on Andros Island. This site is ideal for both scuba diving and snorkelling, making it a great choice for beginners. The dive features an area rich in marine growth, with a particular abundance of elkhorn coral. The maximum depth of the dive is approximately 4 meters, and the visibility can reach up to 30 meters, providing a clear view of the underwater landscape.

The marine life at Red Shoal is diverse and interesting. Divers can expect to see Blue-Striped Grunts and Stingrays among the reef. The site's characteristics are dominated by the reef, which is home to a variety of corals and other marine species.
