About Rainbow Reef

Rainbow Reef, located in the Bimini Islands, is a stunning and vibrant reef system, living up to its name with its array of colors. The reef is shallow and surrounded by a pristine sandy bottom, with a maximum depth of 8 meters. The site is characterized by a pair of intriguing coral pillars, with the surrounding rocks adorned with a variety of beautiful marine growth. The visibility can reach up to 45 meters, however, the strong currents make this dive suitable for intermediate to advanced divers.

The marine life at Rainbow Reef is abundant and diverse. Divers can expect to encounter Barracudas, Chubs, Groupers, Jacks, Sharks, Turtles, and various other species. Commonly spotted fish include Goatfish, Grunts, Sergeant Majors, and Silversides. The site is ideal for those interested in reef and drift diving, offering an excellent display of marine fish and a unique underwater experience.
