About Current Cut

Current Cut is a highly frequented drift dive site situated on the Northern Tip of Currents Island, named after the split between Currents Island and The Bluff. The site is characterized by its easy shore entry and a maximum depth of 20 meters. It is known for its strong currents, hence the name, making it more suitable for experienced divers. The site features a reef and other underwater structures, providing a habitat for a diverse range of marine life.

Divers can expect to encounter large schools of groupers, snappers, sting rays, tropical fish, turtles, and various other species. The site also boasts good coral growth, adding to the underwater spectacle. Visibility can reach up to approximately 37.5 meters, offering divers a clear view of the underwater world. Despite the strong currents, the dive site offers a unique and rewarding experience for those with the necessary skill level.
