About Bonefish Bay

Bonefish Bay is a dive site located in San Salvador, just below Sue Point. The site features a similar bottom topography, with scattered seagrass patches covering the sandy bottom. The area is teeming with marine life, including groupers, rays, tropical fish, turtles, and various other species. The maximum depth of the site is 8 meters, and it offers an approximate maximum visibility of 45 meters. The current is very light, making it an ideal location for dive training and beginner divers.

The site is recommended for beginner level divers due to its manageable depth and light current. The abundant marine life and seagrass patches provide an excellent opportunity for divers to familiarize themselves with various underwater species. The visibility at Bonefish Bay is also quite good, allowing divers to enjoy clear views of the underwater landscape and its inhabitants.
