Basket Star Reef

Basket Star Reef is a shallow reef structure that is suitable for divers of all levels. The site boasts interesting coral formations and is home to the beautiful Queen Angelfish, a species known for its color-changing abilities as it matures. The reef's excellent bottom topography makes it an ideal location for underwater photography. The maximum depth of the site is 9 meters, with an approximate maximum visibility of 45 meters, and a light current.

Located in The Exumas, the reef is a haven for a variety of marine life. Divers can expect to see Angel Fish, Garden Eels, Groupers, Parrot Fish, Snappers, Turtles, and various other species. The site is characterized by its reef structure and other unique features. It is recommended for beginner level divers due to its shallow depth and light current.
