About The Humps

The currents in this area bring in plenty of nutrients to feed the beautiful lush sponge gardens here. The Shellharbour is generally known for its great sites. Its 100 km south of Sydney and has a high concentration of shore dives. From the tip of Bass Point Reserve there are numerous reef 35 to 24m and down to 30 in places. There's a collection of humps around 34° 35' 13"S 150° 54' 42"E. The reef has a south facing point and is small taking only 7min to circumnavigate, the south and east walls are great, even the west has plenty of growth.
