About South Road Reef

Pay at the car park ( 2-6$ for the day) and go downstairs to the beach. The swim is 10m in till you reach the end of the reef. From there head to the orange buoy for 500m. The reef drops a couple of meters after a 200m swim. There's a lot to see here! There are 'stairs' at 300m out lying shallow where there's a wreck that makes a great night dive. The site is normally used for Rescue training.
