About Shiprock

The dive is situated at the end of Shiprock road on the Hacking River in Lilli Pilli. When the tides change this site is undiveable. It can only be experienced after a dry spell. Enter at high tide or 30 min before. The bank slopes to 14m (deepest at 17m) with a north to south running wall that is a macro photographer's paradise. Due to the fact that it's an Aquatic Reserve the fish life is abundant. At night the dive is magical, it can also be counted as one of Sydney's prime muck diving spots.
