About Legendry Island

Head off from Dampier Boat ramp toward the outer islands. Ledgender is the long, thin island about 14km x 1 km. Head to its west end on the seaward side and explore the whole area the lighthouse is especially great. The dive is 5-8m at first and then drops form 10m to 20 with cavers and tunnels to explore. It carries on to 35m with lots of walls and rocks with prolific marine life such as whaler sharks and dolphins.
