About Lady Musgrave Lagoon

I do not know of any specific names of any dive sites at this place, as you can dive all inside and out side of the lagoon. Lady Musgrave Barrier Reef Cruises is the only carrier servicing Lady Musgrave Island. It primarily operates as a day-cruise service, but also ferries campers to the Island. Boats depart daily at 8:30 am from the Town of 1770 marina on Captain Cook Drive, arriving around 75 minutes later (board from 8 am). The lagoon is very protective from swell and very safe to dive. You can dive all around the lagoon outside if you go there by private boat and stay overnight inside the lagoon. Sailing there takes about 8 to 10 hours and is definitely worth it. There were some organized dive rips from Mackay and also from Gladstone 1990-1993 when I was there.
