About Bait Reef

100 metres away from the Trail Bay Gaol is a small reef 25 wide and 40 long that is shallow at 9m which can be done in 15min. The marine life is great the re are crevices and tunnels in the middle of the reef which is 4m high to explore. T o get to the site itself you can park past the camping area at the back in the NW corner. The site is at the large rock pointing out the western end of the Gaol. The reef outline is straight ahead. Entry and exit is here along the sloping reef.
