Scuba World is the only dive shop in Australia that is an Aqualung Partner Centre and Scuba Schools International (SSI) Diamond Dive Centre. This is the highest level world wide achievable.Scuba World specialise in teaching learn to dive programs & taking dive trips to the ex-HMAS Brisbane wreck.Scuba World employs 12 highly qualified and experienced staff, has a custom built 11.3 metre naiad rigid hull inflatable boat, an onsite heated training pool, full Aqualung rental equipment and a stunning showroom located on the beautiful Wharf in Mooloolaba, Sunshine Coast, Australia.Ian McKinnon founded Scuba World in 1979 as a small, modest dive shop in Toowong, Brisbane. 37 years on Scuba World has grown into one of the leading dive shops in Australia.Ian’s two sons Mike and Rob are partners in the business and run day to day operations. With over 37 years of industry knowledge, Ian continues to assist his sons make decisions that increase the level of safety, comfort, professionalism, friendliness and knowledge at Scuba World.
