Opened in 1992, Manta Lodge & Scuba Centre is North Stradbroke Island’s only dive centre and Brisbane’s only SSI Instructor Training Centre. Offering SSI courses from beginner level right up to Scuba Instructor and beyond, Manta Lodge & Scuba Centre is Brisbane’s premier dive facility for high quality, live-in scuba diving training. Located right on the beach at Point Lookout, we specialise in providing world-class scuba diving courses and dive trips to the Moreton Bay Marine Park on beautiful Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island).Perfect for those looking for a scuba diving day trip from Brisbane, Manta Lodge & Scuba Centre runs dive trips five days a week (Friday – Tuesday), as well as snorkel tours on most weekends and various Dive Festivals throughout the year. We also stock an extensive range of scuba hire equipment, have the latest model GoPro video cameras for rental, and offer both air and Nitrox options for divers. Manta Lodge & Scuba Centre is proud to stock quality brands such as Halcyon, Mares, GoPro, Shearwater and Mares XR, and offers an in-house dive equipment service centre with our team of fully-accredited scuba service technicians. We also employ ten highly-qualified and experienced dive professionals, have two naiad inflatable dive vessels, and with our own full-time SSI Instructor Trainer, you can complete all your dive training - right up to Professional level – on site.
